Q: What is a well-child visit?

A: A well-child visit is a routine preventive care appointment where we check your child’s growth, development, and overall health. We review milestones, update vaccinations, discuss nutrition and behavior, and answer any parenting questions you have. These visits are recommended at specific ages from birth through age 21.

Q: How often should my child have a well-child visit?

A: The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends well-child visits at: newborn, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 24 months, 30 months, 3 years, and annually from ages 4 through 21.

Q: Do you provide vaccinations?

A: Telemedicine is a video-based virtual appointment through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform — from any smartphone, tablet, or computer. Book online, receive a secure link, and click to join at your appointment time. No app download required.

Q: What conditions can be treated during a telemedicine visit?

A: Cold and flu symptoms, fever (non-emergency), ear pain, sore throat, pink eye, rashes, mild stomach issues, allergy symptoms, follow-ups, and more. If a physical exam is needed, we’ll help schedule an in-person visit.

Q: Can my child get a prescription from a telemedicine visit?

A: Yes. If clinically appropriate, our providers can electronically send a prescription to your preferred pharmacy during or after the visit.
